Day 2 of our trip started with a ridiculously elaborate breakfast at the hotel with my favorite hotel breakfast: egg and bacon. After that we went shopping, of course. But since I’m on a shopping diet it was a hard few hours for me (I did get me some items).
Before I got depressed from all the items I couldn’t buy, we went to the Momu, the Antwerp fashion museum with a Walter van Beirendonck exposition. It was amazing and very inspiring. The costumes, the movies, the quotes and his way of work. You should go and see for your self.
The day ended with my fave meal, Sushi, at the best sushi place in Antwerp: Zao Wang. We got the chef’s special which was served on a boat. It tasted as good as it looked. LOVEDIT!
iWear (Morning)/ H&M legging, Monki tee, Divino boots
iWear (Afternoon)/ Gina Tricot jeans, H&M sweater & gloves, Vintage vest, divino boots, old glasses
iWear (Night)/ Met jeans, Mango blouse, Divino heels, Forever21 scarf
Who goes to Antwerp has to go to Aquatopia. It’s a beautiful aquarium with all the beautiful fishes (like Nemo) and a lot of rare reptiles. We started our trip there which followed by yummie cocktails in the Stadsfeestzaal. This is a big and old building that is surrounded by different shops. But the building is so royal you can’t stop looking around. After the booze we got hungry and paid a visit to a good Italian restaurant: Velvet Lounge. Very good food and great service & good cocktails!
Just got back from Antwerp! You saw how snowy it was the day I got there and it snowed the whole night. But after Friday the snow stopped falling which made the sun shine on Saturday and Sunday, all day long!!
We stayed at the Hyllit hotel, nearby the beautiful central station, which I would definitely recommend.
In my next post I’ll show you what I did on the snowy Friday!
iWear: Gina Tricot jeans, old turtleneck, Zara denim jacket
Just a quick post before I leave the hotel! This is a picture I took yesterday from the central station, just when we arrived in Antwerp. There was such a snow storm and it looked amazing. I had a Christmas feeling all over again. Once we found our hotel we dropped our baggage and started the fun!
I’ll tell you all about that when I get back home!
I usually try to have a light bag with me during a trip so I can enjoy to the fullest. But some things are a must-to-take-along. These Items were in my bag during my little trip to the UK. My passport of course, my wallet (!!), the YSL fragrance, my make up bag just in case, gums that I bought (NOT YUMMY) and my buddy the colorsplash camera to capture things that I like. What’s usually in your bag?
